Our state-of-the-art Fitness Center
offers equipment designed for all types of fitness enthusiasts. We offer
a comprehensive array of cardiovascular and secularized weight equipment.
Our diverse membership ranges from age 13 to senior citizens. No one
is ever too old to start a fitness program.
Our fully trained staff is ready to get you started with your own
personalized exercise program and answer any questions you may have on
health and fitness. Make an appointment with our knowledgeable fitness
staff and let them introduce you to all our equipment.
We also recommend a FIT test before beginning your exercise program.
We offer FIT tests free of charge, but please make an appointment first.
The purpose of a FIT test is to help you establish a baseline with which
to start, i.e., weight, fat percentage, target heart rate. This will
help in realizing your fitness goals and recognizing your improvement
in the months to follow. We suggest after three months of regular exercise
you return for a second FIT test in order to measure your progress and
improvement.

PERSONAL
TRAINING
JCC members can
work with a personal trainer to set realistic goals and create a safe,
effective workout program based on past and present workout and health
history. All JCC personal trainers are certified through a national
association and must complete on-going training.
Personal training is available in
the following areas:
One-on-One Personal Training
These are private sessions
with a certified personal trainer in a one-on-one setting. You will get
individualized attention aimed at achieving your fitness goals. This
type of session is very personal and time efficient.
Partner Personal
Training
This is a
semi-private session with a certified personal trainer. You will be
able to get a great workout and still have fun with a friend.
Independent
Personalized Training
This type of
training allows you to workout independently while under trained
guidance. Individualized aerobic and weight training workouts are ready
at the beginning of every week. This type of training includes one
consultation at the beginning of the program to set goals and three
weekly updated workout charts.
One-on-One Pilates
Mat Training
Pilates mat
work promotes a balanced musculatory system resulting in core strength,
flexibility, good posture and improved body awareness. Meet with a
certified Pilates instructor and get personalized attention to meet your
goals. Each session is tailored to your needs.

MASSAGE
After a tough workout in the pool or fitness center, come in and relax
with a massage; let our therapists work their wonders. Our therapists
are certified by a nationally accredited school of massage and are prepared
to help work away your stress. The JCC offers therapeutic massages in
our specially designed massage room which is conveniently adjacent to
the fitness center. Appointments for massage may be made at the
front desk. Payment must be made at time of appointment.
Notice of at least 24 hours must be given when canceling an appointment.
