School for the Early Years and
JCC Child Care Center
Children blossom at the JCC. We promote the growth of your whole child and allow him to find his own special place in the world.

The JCC School for the Early Years provides children ages 2-5 years with an environment rich in possibilities for child-initiated, child-directed, teacher-supported learning through active exploration and play. Our School for the Early Years offers socialization and education for your preschooler in the morning, while our Discovery Class for 3-6 year olds provides afternoon fun and enrichment.

Our Child Care Center offers the working parent the same quality programming as the School for the Early Years all day, all year for children age 18 months -12 years.  During the summer, we offer full day Summer Camp to give your child even more opportunities for learning and fun.

Our classrooms provide a safe, nurturing, yet stimulating environment that promotes the growth of the whole child: socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually. Teachers plan flexible study units which originate with and build upon the children's own interests. The goal of all classrooms is to build a community of active learners in which each child will grow and flourish.

We are licensed by the PA Department of Education and the PA Department of Public Welfare and are accredited through the National Association for the Education of Young Children an honor bestowed on only 7% of all childcare centers nationwide.  We also have achieved a Four Star rating with the Keystone STARS program.
