The JCC is committed to preserving your privacy when you visit our site. This policy addresses the collection of, security of and access to information that may be obtained through the use of the JCC web site.

Information Collected
Information collected allows the JCC to contact or locate a user on the Internet via e-mail or web site URL, and/or in the physical world via address, phone number, full name, or some other combination of data.

Use of Information Collected
Information collected is used for the purposes of completion and support of program registration, to improve the content of the site, to notify users about updates to the site or JCC promotional offers or opportunities that may be of interest to you. The JCC may choose to send you an e-mail message on a variety of topics including, but not limited to, informing you of membership benefits, features or services offered by the JCC. You may elect not to receive e-mail messages from the JCC, and you may start or stop receiving such e-mail messages at any time by sending an e-mail message to the JCC at info@yorkjcc.org.

Information provided on the JCC's web site is intended to allow the public immediate access to public information. As a general rule, the JCC does not sell information collected online for commercial marketing purposes. The JCC does not disclose any personally identifiable information collected online except where you have given permission. Secure online program registration is important to the JCC. Commercially reasonable methods are used to keep Personally Identifiable Information securely in JCC files and systems. The enrollment system is based on the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption standard. Provided you are using an SSL-compliant browser such as Netscape's Navigator or Microsoft's Internet Explorer, you'll be able to conduct end-to-end encrypted financial transactions without fear of an intermediary obtaining your credit card information. No transmission of data over the Internet is guaranteed to be completely secure. It may be possible for third parties not under the control of the JCC to intercept or access transmissions or private communications unlawfully. While the JCC strives to protect your personal information, the JCC cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to the JCC. Any such transmission is done at your own risk. Under no circumstances, including but not limited to negligence, shall the JCC be liable for any special, incidental or consequential damages that result from the use of information or materials on our sites, even if the JCC or an authorized representative of the JCC, has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
